It is getting older, but it does not mean it is ready to retire. Not for another ten years at least. This, at least, is the goal of the the fifth and final servicing mission to visit the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope. On 11 May, Space Shuttle Atlantis will launch with a crew of seven to carry out the replacement and repair of several instruments will see Hubble equipped to continue its programme of discovery well into the next decade.
