Crew chosen for Mars isolation test


A crew of six will share a metal cannister for 105 days in an attempt to recreate the isolation of a trip to the Red Planet.
From 31 March, a French airline pilot, a German engineer and four Russians will be stuck in a simulated Mars spacecraft. Their communications with the outside world will be delayed by 20 minutes to simulate the radio lag between Mars and Earth.
